Welcome to the planning bio for Kim and Mark's wedding.
Take a look around at our ideas and stay posted on what we've decided on! It's still a work in progress so your patience is requested.
Kim and Mark recently purchased a home together in Mesa, Arizona. They have 4 roommates, Tori and Oslo, two dogs who provide endless entertainment (and endless problems) as well as Vega and Lyra, one long cat and one fat cat. Both are very strange, and according to Mark, "the most effective predators on the planet."
As a couple, they're favorite thing to do in their free time is go to the movies. On any given night of the week you can catch them at the local drive-in where Kim likes the 2-for-1 prices on Tuesdays. They also enjoy traveling as often as they possibly can and finding new ways to exercise (Mark recently acquired a 400-pound tractor tire that he beats with a sledge hammer to stay in shape).
How we met
Kim and Mark met through a friend who happened to bring along Mark to a lunch that he and Kim had planned. Later that evening, both the friend and Mark visited Kim's new apartment complex and dog, and whilst there, Kim and Mark struck up conversation that has yet to have an end.
The Proposal
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGEDNovember 16, 2008HOW IT HAPPENEDDuring a trip to Washington D.C., Mark planned a night out with Kim and some of his friends they were visiting to attend a performance by Jennifer Koh at the Kennedy Center. At the end of the first half of the performance, Mark pulled out the ring that had been in his coat pocket for 3 days and popped the question.
